Steel erection rigger wanted in Ezeagu

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Ezeagu, Enugu State. The job is at a shipyard. Day to day you will take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area. Requirements: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles 6+ years on the tools preferred.
