Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixer in Umuahia South, Abia State. You will be based on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. The role involves form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
