Foundry worker wanted in Bamberg County

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry worker in Bamberg County, South Carolina. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. Your main tasks: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale Requirements: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
