Great opportunity: bar bender and fixer (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Dallam County, Texas. The job is on a commercial tower construction site. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire On the job you will handle: • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
