You will weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch. What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Full-time with occasional weekends.
