Machinist • Adair County, Oklahoma

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a machinist in Adair County, Oklahoma. You will work in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go Ideal candidate: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Overtime paid at a premium rate.
