Rigging foreman • Cayuga County, New York

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Cayuga County, New York. You will work in a steel fabrication yard. The role involves calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads. Requirements: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
