We are recruiting: fabricator-welder (Jigawa State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Miga, Jigawa State. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush Requirements: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around ₦650 per hour, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Share your details and we will call you back.
