Sheet metal press operator • Bedford County, Pennsylvania

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Bedford County, Pennsylvania. The job is in a forging and pressing unit. Ideal candidate: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards The role involves load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; record output and downtime on the production sheet; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
