Counter butcher — Somerset County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a counter butcher in Somerset County, Maryland. You will be based in a meat processing plant. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate On a typical shift you will weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
