Great opportunity: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Monongalia County, West Virginia. You will be based in a meat processing plant. On a typical shift you will debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date. You should have: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
