Lathe operator • Garland County, Arkansas

Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe operator in Garland County, Arkansas. The job is on a production line. Your main tasks: • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing Requirements: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor Part-time with flexible hours.
