Goods-in/goods-out operative — Currituck County

Now hiring: we are hiring a goods-in/goods-out operative in Currituck County, North Carolina. You will work at a regional distribution hub. On a typical shift you will pack items into cartons and seal them with tape; load and unload lorries and containers by hand or with a pallet truck; report damaged or short-dated goods to the supervisor; scan barcodes to update stock levels on the WMS; wrap pallets with stretch film and apply shipping labels; assemble customer orders for dispatch and stage them at the loading bay. Ideal candidate: • Good numeracy for stock counts and order checking • Valid counterbalance/reach forklift licence (RTITB or equivalent) • Confident using handheld scanners and a WMS Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience.
