Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Thomas County, Nebraska. The job is on a lift modernisation project. On a typical shift you will carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; run load and overload tests with test weights; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays. Requirements: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift.
