Urgent requirement: cnc production machinist (New York)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Yates County, New York. You will work in a tool room. On a typical shift you will top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; load and index turning tools in the turret. Requirements: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
