Concrete finisher — Ottawa County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Ottawa County, Kansas. You will set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days. What we are looking for: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
