Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crane rigger in Montgomery County, Mississippi. The role involves: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear Requirements: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Rotating shifts. Pay around $3,100 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
