Gantry crane operator wanted in Shelby County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Shelby County, Missouri. You will be based at a container port and shipping yard. On a typical shift you will climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block. Requirements: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Current medical and eyesight certificate 4+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $5,200 per month plus benefits. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
