Immediate opening: we are hiring a fettler in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. You will be based in a non-ferrous casting shop. The role involves: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces Requirements: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Basic grinding and fettling skills Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $250 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
