Great opportunity: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Emanuel County, Georgia. Day to day you will update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site. Requirements: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
