Shuttering and concrete hand — Habersham County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Habersham County, Georgia. The job is at a precast concrete yard. What we are looking for: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet Your main tasks: • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
