Join our team: we are hiring an auto painter in Ford County, Illinois. You should have: • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale You will wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
