Brickwork mason • Addison County, Vermont

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Addison County, Vermont. You will be based at a groundworks and structures site. The role involves: • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters Requirements: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one 2+ years on the tools preferred.
