Immediate opening: marble installer (Scotland)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a marble installer in West Lothian, Scotland. The job is in a stone processing yard. On a typical shift you will shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels; restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish; cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades; fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin; lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar; grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
