Vacancy available: we are hiring a roofing technician in Yazoo County, Mississippi. Requirements: • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel • Willing to work outdoors in all weather • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls On the job you will handle: • Bed and point ridge tiles with mortar • Fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits • Fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens • Replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
