We are recruiting: we are hiring a pastry baker in Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana. On a typical shift you will score the top of loaves before baking; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them. You should have: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen We offer $2,500 per month plus benefits.
