Great opportunity: plant operator (Alaska)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plant operator in City and Borough of Wrangell, Alaska. What we are looking for: • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor Your main tasks: • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Set up and start the machine as per the job card At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
