Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Madison County, Arkansas. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
