Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Macon County, Georgia. You will work at a reinforced concrete building site. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing The role involves: • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss 6+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
