Join our team: we are hiring a panel painter in City of Harrisonburg, Virginia. The job is in an automotive paint and panel workshop. Your main tasks: • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters Requirements: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
