We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Borough of Halton, England. The job is at an auto-components manufacturing unit. Your main tasks: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm £3,150 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
