Ladle pourer wanted in Grundy County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Grundy County, Illinois. Day-to-day duties: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand What we are looking for: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
