Rebar worker wanted in Caerphilly County Borough

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar worker in Caerphilly County Borough, Wales. The job is on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Day-to-day duties: • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift Ideal candidate: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around £2,600 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
