Air conditioning installer • Lee County, Alabama

Immediate opening: we are hiring an air conditioning installer in Lee County, Alabama. You will be based at an air conditioning service centre. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift outdoor units and work in tight spaces • Own set of hand tools, gauges and flaring kit preferred • Confident brazing copper and running nitrogen pressure tests The role involves: • Braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks • Insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving • Fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter • Wire the indoor-to-outdoor interconnecting cable and connect the isolator • Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum • Commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $4,200 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
