Immediate opening: we are hiring a glass fitter in Monmouth County, New Jersey. The job is on a construction site. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Driving licence for site-to-site work preferred Your main tasks: • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film • Replace cracked or broken window panes • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points • Measure window and door openings and order glass to size Part-time with flexible hours.
