Natural gas fitter — Hooker County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Hooker County, Nebraska. You will work in a gas distribution network. Day to day you will install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge. Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
