Now hiring: we are hiring a membrane applicator in Jefferson County, Wisconsin. You will work on flat roofs and terraces. Your main tasks: • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings Ideal candidate: • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding 5+ years on the tools preferred. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
