Pipe tig welder — Cottonwood County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Cottonwood County, Minnesota. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Day to day you will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters. What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Full-time with occasional weekends.
