Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cnc turner in Gregory County, South Dakota. You will work at a busy machine shop. Day-to-day duties: • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg 3+ years on the tools preferred.
