Great opportunity: sand plant operator (England)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Lincolnshire, England. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. You will melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor 4+ years on the tools preferred.
