Join our team: we are hiring a hand presser in City of Covington, Virginia. The job is in a tailoring workshop. Day to day you will hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments. Ideal candidate: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends.
