HSE officer • Bamberg County, South Carolina

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a HSE officer in Bamberg County, South Carolina. The job is at an oil and gas facility. What we are looking for: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements You will take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. $25 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
