Immediate opening: we are hiring a marble fitter in Tipton County, Indiana. Ideal candidate: • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish • Good eye for joints, levels and overall finish Your main tasks: • Cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site • Lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish • Fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
