Vacancy available: we are hiring a cabinet maker in Carver County, Minnesota. You will work in a cabinet-making workshop. Day to day you will read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge. What we are looking for: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided.
