Brick mason wanted in Geary County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a brick mason in Geary County, Kansas. Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools Day-to-day duties: • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $160 per day, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
