Rigger wanted in Tipton County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rigger in Tipton County, Tennessee. You will work at a container port. Day to day you will attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use. Requirements: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
