Join our team: we are hiring a fettler in Saline County, Arkansas. You should have: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Your main tasks: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities We offer $3,100 per month plus benefits.
