Brick mason — Sussex County

Join our team: we are hiring a brick mason in Sussex County, New Jersey. You will be based at a renovation and extension job. Ideal candidate: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Day-to-day duties: • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
