Immediate opening: we are hiring a MIG welder in Custer County, Nebraska. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Day to day you will maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Contact us to fix an interview.
