Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites The role involves: • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters Rotating shifts.
